Steps
- The visitor enters a location, picks services, chooses a time and leaves their name and email.
- You, and anyone who manages bookings, get a bell. The client is matched by email, or a new client record is made.
- Open Projects. Booking requests sit at the top of the list. The Dashboard also lists them under Requests to approve, with "Review request".
- Check the details. On the Calendar the request shows as a dashed block at the time asked for. Drag it to another time or person if you need to.
- Approve it to confirm the booking, or decline it with a reason.
Once it is confirmed, the client's confirmation email names the person attending, and that person gets a bell and an email with a calendar invite.
Good to know
- How requests arrive is set in Settings, Booking: manual review, suggested slots or automated booking.
- Declining emails the requester your reason.
- A day visit and a twilight visit confirm separately. "Confirm both visits" does both at once.
- Addresses outside your work areas are still accepted, and flagged for review.
- Confirmation emails carry a link to book again, with the client's details filled in.
What it does not do
- While "Pause client messages" is on, clients get no booking emails, and nothing held is sent later.
- Taking payment when the request is made needs Stripe connected and the Upfront payment timing.
