How do I manage storage and delete old project files?

Files you upload count toward your workspace's storage. Billing shows what you use, and the Library is where you clear out old files.

Steps

  1. Open Billing and check the Usage section.
  2. In Library, open a project, select the files you no longer need, and choose Delete. To clear a whole project, use the trash icon on its card.
  3. Deleted files go to Trash, next to the sort options, where they can be restored for 30 days.
  4. To remove them now, use "Empty trash" or "Delete forever".
  5. To keep finished projects without clearing them, choose "Move to vault" on the project, or on selected files inside it.
  6. In Settings, Delivery, set how long delivered files stay available to clients.

A project a client has saved to their own storage never expires for them.

Good to know

  • When storage is full, new uploads are blocked with a message pointing to Billing.
  • Vault is a separate archive tier, set up from Billing. Files in it still download straight away.
  • Clients get a reminder 7 days and 1 day before delivered files expire.
  • The sample project's photos never count toward storage.

What it does not do

  • Empty trash and Delete forever cannot be undone.
  • Older versions of a file are never deleted.
  • Clients cannot delete files.
