How do I ask my editor to fix some photos?

When an editor sends work back, you review it on the order and send only the photos that need fixing as the next round.

Steps

  1. Open Editing and click the order.
  2. Tick each photo that is right.
  3. Flag each photo that needs work. A note field opens in the row: type what to change.
  4. To show the exact spot, open the photo full size and use Mark up to draw or place text on it.
  5. Click "Request changes for N files". Your notes and marks go with them, and round 2 opens with only those files.
  6. The editor gets one notification for the round, with a "What to fix" list.
  7. When the fixes come back, each reads "v2 · Fixed in round 2". Approve them together with "Approve N fixes", or flag one again for round 3.

Your notes and marks stay private to your team until you request changes.

Good to know

  • Request changes stays switched off until at least one file is flagged.
  • Fixed photos replace the old ones under the same name, as a new version. Version 1 is never deleted.
  • The Rounds rail on the right lists each round with its date.
  • In the full-size viewer, A approves and F flags.

What it does not do

  • A fix to a photo your client can already see is held back until you deliver finals.
  • Close order is only offered when no round is open.
